LifeLine Community Church

In the Community

We are a Community Church at our core. Our first mission statement over 30 years ago was “not so much a building, more a way of life”. Sharing life as a community and within the local community is what matters to us.
Our first investment beyond the church community was back in the early 80’s when we established our international arm, now known as LifeLine Network International. This relational network spans 17 nations and represents the transforming work from our partners serving some of the most vulnerable communities across the globe.

Our work and daily living is embedded in Dagenham and Redbridge. We’ve undertaken schools clubs, holiday clubs, befriending schemes, hospital visiting schemes, community festivals, music festivals, parenting classes and IT classes and many more initiatives to serve our local area. Many of these continue and some have grown into significant initiatives.

In the year 2000, we established a charity called LifeLine Community Projects, which now delivers a range of public services including nurseries, employability programmes, alternative schools provision. FaithAction, a national network of faithbased organisations was birthed out of LifeLine Community Projects.
Other community initiatives come under the umbrella of Community Resources.
